As central points in most networks, servers are uniquely vulnerable to attack from both points inside and outside the network. Therefore securing this hardware and the data they contain is critical.

The V2Vnet-Server software protects these devices by adding a virtual machine layer to monitor all of the communication between the server and the supported clients. By creating a virtual network of trusted machines, accessing the critical data on the server is now limited to clients using the VDN software. Injection of worms or other spy software that transmit data out of the trusted network is also neutralized.

V2VNet Server is compatible with virtually any server OS. Windows, Unix, Linux and proprietary systems are supported as well as cloud based and CDN systems.

PC’s and laptops have often been the target of hackers looking to gain access into a secure network. Since these devices are the common tool of access to outside services, securing the communication in and out of these devices is a critical element in the process of securing the network.

To support the creation of a virtual network of secure devices, VDN client software is added between the operating system and the network devices of each PC and laptop accessing the network. This client software, in conjunction with the Dispersive Presence Server, limits access to trusted nodes while supporting the dispersive routing of network traffic throughout the network. Each client node can also now act as a deflect point for the routing of traffic.

The proliferation of smart phones and tablets in recent years has created a whole new attack surface for hackers looking to gain access to networks and data. With the introduction of a variety of new devices and operating systems, it has created a complex landscape for network and security administrators to manage. With the introduction of V2Vnet – MP, organizations now have a central platform to support the process of securing the communications on these devices.

By adding these devices to your virtual network, you can utilize the same VDN client technology deployed on your fixed devices. Similar to other devices, the VDN software is added between the operating system and the network devices of each mobile device accessing the network. This client software, in conjunction with the Dispersive Presence Server, limits access to trusted nodes while supporting the dispersive routing of network traffic throughout the network. To add additional protection, mobile devices can also be added as deflect points for the routing of traffic from any other device on the network.

Next Generation Security

  • Allows use of single key encryption that is actually more secure than client-server multi-key encryption
  • Provides encryption layer that is immune to hacking
  • Allows rapid changes to device's network identity
  • Allows multiple peers to relay traffic to avoid man-in-the-middle attacks
  • Allows signaling between peers to overcome attacks and network bottlenecks

Defensive Capability

  • Provides a buffer between the Operating System and Network
  • Restricts traffic to and from trusted peers
  • Infected Operating System cannot use VDN to broadcast
  • Changes identity when under attack and alerts peers
  • Isolates and Re-routes attack for analysis and reaction

Inadequate cybersecurity and loss of information has inflicted unacceptable damage to US National and economic security.
